I listened, I wrote, & I sang.

It is not enough to exhaust only one talent & think that we’ve arrived, that we’ve done enough or that it’s okay to bury the rest; basically, doing the bare minimum & short-changing ourselves. I know I’ve been built with a “MORE” typa hard drive. I was told once before, that I’m not made for the mundane. True story, I tell ya. Anyway, inside me, there were these untapped reservoirs in my heart & mind & they were craving uninhibited, playful & fun expression. They were full to the brim & their banks were about to burst at their seams. So, I let my inner child dive into that cool water & play in those waves of sound, melody & rhythm. I wrote songs & I sang.

It's so strange how I’ve watched my inner child bend & stretch, grow & explore, contract & expand through music & sound textures. Each of my albums reveal different facets & areas in my life of where I was at, at the time. A metamorphosis from childhood, to adolescence to adulthood, & then starting all over again. I honored & respected the part of me, requesting expression. I was listening! 

Each album has its own persona & it attests to the inner-synergy, the complementarities which I’ve accepted as, unapologetically, … ME!
